Adorable! We grew our own pumpkins this year, quite by accident. The Rev. kicked a pumpkin off our porch when we had early snow last year, and it rotted and then sprouted this summer. I let one plant live and it took over my flower bed and half of the lawn. We got three pretty decent pumpkins out of it, and I learned that pumpkins grow on their sides, which is why they are not usually perfectly round! We still had to visit Papa's Pumpkin Patch anyway...too much fun to miss! Thank you for sharing your family with us readers!
